MR. MAYANK PODDAR
The Chairman
A true visionary and leader, Mr Poddar is the man behind what brand Celica is and stands for today. Over four decades ago he had envisaged that the Indian economy was on the verge of dramatic growth fuelled by every Indian’s aspiration to achieve a decent standard of living. All his entrepreneurial efforts have gone behind enabling as well as harnessing that growth by investing in peoples’ dreams.
The Chairman of the Group, Mr Poddar serves on the Boards of many companies. He actively contributes to policy formulation, provides overall guidance and support to the other Directors and the management team in achieving corporate objectives. He also spearheads all the CSR initiatives of the group.
MR. ADARSH TULSHAN
Managing Director
Someone who always believes in leading from the front, Mr Tulshan handles both policy formulation as well as operations across all the Group verticals. Dynamic and with a strong technology-driven focus, he is instrumental in business development and pushing the Group into newer areas of growth.
Mr Tulshan has done his education in Nainital and, later, graduated in Commerce from the University of Calcutta. He is extremely well networked socially and is passionate about automobiles. He is active in the Kolkata corporate sphere and holds memberships of the Merchant Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Bharat Chamber of Commerce, and of the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce. He is also a partner with SVP, a philanthropic body. A keen sportsman, he regularly participates in most inter-club and corporate sports events in the city, excelling in badminton and as a batsman with his cricket team.
MR. KALYAN BOSE
Whole Time Director
A veteran in managing the affairs of the group, Mr Bose holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the University of Calcutta and brings to the Board more than 30 years of experience in real estate, organizational management, financial and risk management.
Amongst multiple roles handled by him, Mr Bose had initially been the Chief Executive in Magma Farms Private Limited, a company that had been promoted by the group. He first sharpened his skills by developing a high-end architecturally stunning farmhouse property in the outskirts of New Delhi and has been featured in the magazine Inside Outside. His strength lies in his commitment to taking a ‘hands-on’ management approach. He contributes to policy formulation and provides overall support and guidance to the Board and management, and is passionate about driving the Group’s reputation for transparency and sustainability.
MR. SANDEEP GUPTA
Director
Very affable and with a tireless work ethic, Mr Gupta has over 26 years experience covering a wide range of industries including managing a plastic polypropylene sheet manufacturing plant, a top-end medical diagnostic center, and export of finished leather products like bags, wallets and purses.
Having graduated in Commerce from St.Xaviers College, Kolkata, he anchors all day-to-day operational issues of the organization and is involved in policy decisions covering planning, marketing, HR and operations. A self-confessed die hard foodie, Mr Gupta enjoys travelling in his free time.
